Dr. Scott Kellermann sits down with longtime friend Julia Amaral to reminisce about her first involvement with the Kellermanns and Uganda. Julia and her husband Mark were able to help Dr. Scott and Carol Kellermann treat people and witness firsthand the great need and opportunity to help. She remembers how hundreds of people would materialize out of nowhere to receive healthcare they desperately needed. Years later when the Amarals returned to Uganda, Dr. Scott showed them where he dreamed of seeing an intensive care unit. Julia was able to help make that dream come true. Their next collaborative project is the Dental-Vison clinic.
