Healthcare Volunteers
We welcome healthcare volunteers who hold a current medical license or are in the clinical phase of their medical education. Approved applicants serve at Bwindi Community Hospital or Uganda Nursing School Bwindi. The screening process may take up to a month to complete.

General Volunteers
We welcome volunteers who can support the specific needs of the Batwa Development Program. Volunteers can help with primary and secondary education, agriculture, home building, locally marketable crafts and goods, woodworking, mechanics, finance, public health topics, and many more valuable skills. Be a companion to hospital patients while they heal.

Host your own gathering to share the story of the Batwa and build support. We will equip you with all of the materials you’ll need to create a memorable event, including brochures, newsletters, presentations and videos.
